Welcome to my web site. In 1993, I created Natural Weddings to specialize in candid wedding photography. My philosophy is that you should enjoy your own wedding! Working discretely, unobtrusively, yet thoroughly, I create vivid, storytelling photographs of your wedding. My modern, photojournalist’s style emphasizes warmth and spontaneity. I shoot events as they unfold, capturing the fun, the energy, and the real emotions. Whenever possible, I avoid harsh flash photography and emphasize natural light.
Everything I do is custom; I work in your comfort zone to your expectations. I come early and cover all of the happenings that are part of this very important day. You can expect that 90% or more of your wedding photography will be candid. I never interrupt, interfere, or fake a shot.
Of course, I do the traditional groups and family pictures, too. I would be happy to consult with you and help you to plan your group shots and portraits. Most people want these shots, but hope to keep time spent on them to a minimum. I direct the group shots, aiming to complete them in no more than 30 minutes. With good planning, your event unfolds seamlessly at its own pace and rhythm.
